I created a hypothetical mobile game, then created and animated a title screen for it. I looked at some other mobile games to draw inspiration on what UI to include, as well as how other games would "tell" the player to start (such as pressing or tapping).
There's a bright white glowing in the background city to draw the viewer's attention from the front to the back, up to the title, which floats up and down. The elements are of a lighter color, and glowing for a sense of magic and to be like that of a moon. The front objects also float up and glitch to balance the movement and glowing in the top half.
Start Screen Still: The human subject in front is the main focus, with the path leading upwards so the player's eyes naturally take in all the elements of the foreground to background to the title. The UI on the top right are common in mobile games, like settings, game announcements, and switching accounts. They are surrounded in a transparent white border to match the aesthetics of the rest of the game's title and background, as well as to indicate that they are buttons that the player can press.
Original Sketch: Compositions and parts are mostly the same. I focused on symmetry for an organized and balanced look. One larger change I made was adjusting how I drew the "I" of the title logo. Originally, it looked too much like a "T", so in the final version, I changed it into its lowercase form, since the dot could be made to look like a moon.
