A sketched out a short animation drawn in TVPaint. It is a story about growth, symbolized by plants, and the human is the water that heals and encompasses the plants. The two flowers in the animation are a lotus and a daffodil, representing reincarnation/rising after suffering and rebirth/new beginnings in the language of flowers, respectively.
Sketched out animation from storyboard. Also a focus on animating water, especially how to create an accurate depiction of the movement, flow, feel/weight, and style of water.
Simple storyboard of my animation. I ended up changing some angles and the ending so that it was more conclusive. Originally, I had a script but since I didn't include it, I changed the end to wrap everything together in a way that made more direct sense, where even without text, the viewer could tell that the human and flower have helped each other.
