Drawing and paintings I did for an environmental rendering class, either with charcoal or house paints typically used for scenic design.
A color chart where the pure, washed, tint, shade, and neutral (mixed with complimentary color) are painted. There's also more neutral tones in the bottom right, a color wheel, and a white to black paint transition at the top. With this, it can be a reference for future paintings to better match the color of the image our paintings are based off of.
I started off the stone painting with a practice run on canvas paper to get a feel of the general shapes and colors. Then, on the board, I laid out some base colors with a large brush and sponge for basic texturing.
